Meliani Kurniawati
Associate Director
With her extensive working experience in development sector for over 14 years and passion for community development, Meliani leads the Solutions Lab team as the Associate Director.
Meliani leads the Solutions Lab team, overseeing the design and implementation of experiments and projects aimed at finding potential solutions to challenges faced by individuals living in the last mile. Prior to Kopernik, Meliani served as the Asia Regional Coordinator of Mission 21, an international mission agency of the Protestant Reformed Churches in Switzerland. In this role, she collaborated with over 20 partners across Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Thailand to execute community development projects.
With a background in Comparative Religions, Meliani has cultivated a strong interest in women's empowerment and community development initiatives. With over 14 years of experience in development sector, both in the United States and Indonesia, Meliani brings a wealth of expertise to her current position as a member of Kopernik’s leadership team, where she contributes to the organization's efforts in serving underserved community.
In her leisure time, Meliani enjoys swimming and spending time with her extended family.
